Project 10 pan (take 2) is well and truly overdue. Actually finishing a product this morning prompted me to commence this challenge once again.
I have far too many nude lipsticks, varying shades of peach blush and half loved lipglosses which i am frankly sick of the sight of.
They need to go.
As well as being sick of the sight of certain items I am going to New York the first week of April (super excitement) AND I have also found/persuaded someone to go travelling (well high class backpacking) around Europe with me in the Summer. Serious penny stashing is therefore in order! I've vowed to myself that I am going to make this year a good one and this means annual leave will involve some sort of holiday (whilst I am mortgage/commitment free). Experiences bring me so much more than 'things' and I can honestly say I never been as happy as I am now. It was a long time coming but it feels so good.
Anyway the first victim was By Terry Baume de Rose.......
Would I repurchase? No. It is nice but for £32 i want more than nice.
In preparation I have already lined up some future contenders which include YSL Tea Rose Lipstick, MAC Pearl CCB and MAC Lightscapade MSF (again).....
1 down, 9 to go.... I'm scared already!

I really need to do this! I have SO many lipsticks/lipglosses etc that are pretty much the exact same shade.. I really don't need them all!
ReplyDeleteSame goes for blushes/eyeshadows/face powders. I buy SO many and never get around to finishing anything because I'm flicking between them all so much!
I really need to do this to. I am actually SCARED though, because I know i'll fail :(

ReplyDeleteI'm following you! :-) I've just hit pan on my Nars powder foundation. I've never hit pan on anything before because I buy so much stuff. Keep using the new items and leaving the older ones behind! I really need to be in on project 10 pan! I have so many things I want rid of too. Many I'll make a post about this tomorrow!

i so need to start using up make up and stop buying it, its getting crazy, i want to save up to travel and see the world instead of sitting staring at drawers and drawers of expensive make up. It will all have gone off before i get the chance to use it if i dont stop buying now.x
