Blonde on Blonde- OOTD

As predicted the blonde is back. I found the brown difficult to work with, I found it easily unflattering and the maintenance turned into a bit of a nightmare (there is a hell of a lot of bleach lurking under there). Lets just say bleach, brown and sun do not mix. In conclusion the blonde is back and i am much happier.

I had the most amazing time travelling around Eastern Europe however i will do a separate post on that for anybody that is interested!

I went a wedding reception last night so thought i would do a quick outfit post. I know the dress isn't to everybody's taste, my sister has expressed her disapproval on many occasions, however i personally love it.

With vintage i always wonder who bought the dress originally and for what and how did it end up in a charity shop 50 years down the line? I found this when i was working away in Woodbridge and knew it had to be mine......

Maxi dress- Vintage Susan Small c.1960s £20 British Heart Foundation
Vintage Leather Clutch- £1.50 Car boot sale

This morning was spent scuffing/car booting and culminated in the purchase of an amazing sequined dress for £5 and a box of vintage advertisement milk bottles (don't ask, it was a deal in my eyes at 8am). Hoping to get an early start in tomorrow and locate some more bargains.

  1. Wow you look gorgeous and I love that dress! Totally know what you mean about the brunette/blonde situation. It used to make me look so washed out when I went dark once. Horrid!

  2. Wow, that dress is beautiful! A lot of people said they liked when I had dark hair, but I felt similar about it too. I'd love to see your Europe post.
